Red Chinese Armchair

Red Chinese so called hat chair with very nice patina, probably made in the first half of the 20th Century.

A Chinese hat chair, also known as a Guanmaoyi chair, is a traditional Chinese armchair with a yoke-shaped (a yoke is a wooden beam used to couple a pair of oxen or other animals together) backrest that resembles the hats worn by Ming dynasty officials.
