Chiavari or Chiavarina chairs were designed by Guiseppe Gaetano Descalzi in 1807. The chairs were handmade by Fratelli Zunino and Rivarola in Chiavari in the early 1950s.
The black lacquered frame is made of solid beech feature intricately carved and turned details in the spindle backrest and front legs. The chair retain its original finely woven cane.
