Chiavari or Chiavarina chairs were designed by Guiseppe Gaetano Descalzi in 1807. The chairs were handmade by Fratelli Zunino and Rivarola in Chiavari in the early 1950s.
The natural lacquered frames made of solid beech features intricately carved and turned details in the spindle backrest and front legs. The chair retains it's original finely woven cane.
